Writing Lessons » the purpose of the narrative writing
What is the purpose of the narrative writing?
Narration is storytelling, and a passage of narration, like a story, is a series of events or actions. A passage-length narrative usually focuses on one action or one series of events. The order of incidents is clear and logical: one action leads to another in a way that seems right and normal. The most natural order for such a series of events is chronological, that is, in the same order as they would naturally occur.
